2006 Spring Seminar - Okinawa! 5th day - 最終日

Monday Hiromi and I played 16 holes of ground golf on the hotel’s course. We were the only two there. Afterwards, we drove back to Naha to return the rental car. Hiromi and Maggie went on to the airport, but I wanted to do some shopping, so I walked about half a mile to the monorail station. Although everything was written in Nihongo (Japanese), I was able to discern where there was a shopping area, bought my ticket, and waited on the platform for a few minutes for my train.

月曜最終日、私とヒロミはホテルのグラウンドゴルフ場で16ホールプレイしました。貸切状態でした。その後那覇に向かってドライブし、レンタカーを返却。ヒロミと同乗していたマギーは、空港へ向かいましたが、私はまだショッピングをしたかったので、少し離れたモノレールの駅まで歩きました。すべて日本語表示ではあるものの、私はショッピングのエリアが見分けることができました。切符を買い、プラットホームで数分モノレールを待ちました。

But I got on the wrong train! It was headed to the airport, with no intermediate stops! Oh, well, I found some good souvenirs at the airport shops and they were not too outrageously expensive, so all ended well.

ところが、乗ったのが逆方向の空港へ行くのに乗ってしまった！あきらめて、空港の店でお土産探し。値段もかけ離れて高いこともなく、すべては問題なく終わりました。
