2006 Spring Seminar - Okinawa! 1st day - 第一日

Arrivingin Okinawa, we deplaned and boarded the busses for the car rental company, and then caravanned to the hotel (the Royal). We were all impressed with the quality of the hotel that Hiromi chose, especially since the price was very reasonable. They also have a sister-hotel (the Renaissance) down the road that we could use for beach, shopping, and all-you-can-eat deserts and drinks.

沖縄到着後、レンタカーに分乗してホテルへ、ロイヤルガーデンリゾート沖縄。　値段の割には充実したホテルで、ビーチにある姉妹ホテル(ルネッサンス)の施設も使えて、ショッピングしたり、マリンスポーツを楽しんだり、ケーキや飲み物も欲しいだけ食べて飲んで、皆ご機嫌でした。

Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and had an outstanding view of the Pacific Ocean on the right side, and the East China Sea on the left. Okinawa is part of Japan, but is actually closer to China and Taiwan. ホテルの部屋は清潔で快適で、なによりも景色がすばらしく、右には太平洋、左には東シナ海が見えます。沖縄は日本ですが、実際中国や台湾の方が距離的に近いのです。第二次世界大戦では一番悲惨な戦いがここでなされました。関心のある方は上記のURL へどうぞ。
