On April 6, 2006, The Rising Sun School ministry team set out to do our first seminar together, in beautiful Okinawa. Members of the team were: Osada-san, Momokawa-san, Maggie Nagamura, (a Christian psychologist from Peru), Saito-san, Keiko-san, Tamaki-san and her two children, Hazuki-chan and Motoki-kun, along with John and Hiromi Stemmons. Hiromi planned the trip and made all the arrangements, reservations, etc. Everything went smoothly because of Hiromi’s good planning.

2006年4月6日，ライジングサンスクールミニストリ−チームは、美しい沖縄で初のセミナーを行うために旅立ちました。メンバーは、ジョン、ヒロミ、長田さん、百川さん、マギー、斉藤さん、惠子さん、たまきさん、と二人の子供、はづきちゃん、もとき君。　この旅行の計画やアレンジ、予約等を担ったのはヒロミで、すべてがスムーズに済みました。

The trip was made to “carry ‘Water’ (the Word of God) to “thirsty” Christians in Okinawa. It was a result of the strange but wonderful experience we had in November 2005, when we (Hiromi and John) met Pastor Toji while we were vacationing in Okinawa. この旅行は、沖縄で渇きを持っているクリスチャンに“水を運んでいく”ために行われたものです。水とは神のみことばです。昨年の11月に起こった、奇妙でありながら素晴らしい体験から生まれた企画です。　沖縄での休暇中に通事牧師に出会って、そこで何が起きたかは、上記のURLアドレスでチェックできます。

Team Members: チームメンバー

The trip members are all students of Rising Sun School and attend various bible classes that are held all over our area in and around Fujisawa, which is in Kanagawa prefecture, west of Tokyo and Yokohama, on the Pacific Ocean. They have learned a lot in the last few years and were ready to minister to others.

メンバーは皆、ライジングサンスクールのバイブルクラスで定期的に学んでいる生徒さんたちです。バイブルクラスは藤沢中心に湘南、神奈川エリアの各地で行われています。皆、この２〜３年でたくさん学び、人々に働きかけるよう備えられています。

Osada Mutsuko hosts our Saturday night class in Kaisei, and has learned how to evangelize. Last summer she led her whole family (three generations!) to the Lord. They are all baptized in the Holy Spirit and attending church in Isehara. Recently Osada-san led five ladies to the Lord in a nursing home. She likes to “go fishing”! She loves Jesus Christ and is a serious bible student.

おさださん：　土曜夜の開成クラスをホストしていて、伝道の方法を学びました。昨年夏にはご家族全員（三世代）が主に導かれました。皆聖霊のバプテスマも受け、伊勢原ガーデンチャペルに通っています。　彼女は最近ある介護ホームで五人の年配の女性たちを主に導きました。人を捕るため釣りをするのが好きです！　彼女はイエスキリストを愛するシリアスな聖書の生徒です。。

Momokawa Hideko attends our class in Kaisei, and attends church in Isehara. She was born-again on January 4, 2003, at Rising Sun School. Several months later she began attending church, and when we opened the class in Kaisei, she joined us. She has a happy personality and everyone likes her.

ももかわさん：　開成クラスで毎週学んでいます。　教会は伊勢原ガーデンチャペル。　彼女が新生したのは、２００３年１月４日、ライジングサンスクールです。　数ヶ月過ぎた頃、教会に通うようになりました。　開成クラスを始めると、彼女も加わってくれました。　彼女のパーソナリティーは、ハッピーで、皆に好かれる人です。

Saito Kikue lives in Kamakura, an old capital of Japan, not far from Fujisawa. She was born-again at Rising Sun School. Her friend Yuasa Yoko brought her here as well as Momokawa-san. She learns at Kugaenuma kaigan Class which Hiromi teaches. Although she is relatively new, Saito-san really belonged in this seminar. Not only was she a great help, but it was also her opportunity to learn.

さいとうさん：　古都鎌倉在住。　彼女もライジングサンスクールで新生しました。ももかわさんと同様、お友達のYokoさんに連れられて来ました。　鵠沼海岸のヒロミのクラスで学んでいます。 メンバーの中では新生した一番若いクリスチャンですが、本当にこのセミナーに参加してくれるべき人でした。　たくさんの働きとともに、たくさん学んだはずです。

Maggie Nagamura is a Christian psychologist from Peru. She was raised in a religious environment, but began questioning what she had been taught. After being born-again, she joined Shonan Central church and is a faithful member of the Spanish-speaking church there. Maggie is fluent in Spanish, English, and Japanese. Her training as a psychologist made her a great asset to our team, as she is very people-sensitive. Her testimony is awesome: after learning to get her patients born-again, her success rate has gone way up. She is a real soul-winner.

マギーさん：　ペルー出身の心理学者。宗教的環境で育てられたが、その教えに疑問を持ち始めた。新生した後、湘南セントラルチャーチに属し、スペイン語教会の忠実なリーダーとして働いている。マギーはスペイン語、英語、日本語に通じている。　心理学者として人々を細やかに配慮し、チームで大きく貢献した。　彼女はすばらしい証しを持っています。　患者さんたちを新生に導くことを学んで以来、彼女の働きは飛躍的です。真のソウルウイナーです。

Tashiro Keiko has been a Christian for many years. Several years ago, when we first met her, she and her husband, Ryoichi, told us that they would like to learn the bible. They have been avid students and attend several classes every week. They are also great helpers, and have done so much for Hiromi and I that we think they are just amazing. They host Hiromi's Kugenumakaigan class. Keiko leads people to the Lord all the time, and even led one lady she met in Okinawa at the hotel. Keiko and Ryoichi are chiropractors and they make sure that we all stay in good condition!

けいこさん：　長年クリスチャンでありながら、私たちと初めて会った時、彼女も夫の亮一さんも、聖書を学びたいと言いました。二人とも熱心な生徒で、週のうち何度も学びに来ています。また彼らは偉大なるヘルパーで、常に私たちが驚くほどに仕えてくれます。鵠沼海岸のヒロミのバイブルクラスもホストしています。けいこさんはいつも人々を主に導き、この旅行中にも、一人の女性を導きました。　けいこさんも亮一さんもカイロの先生で、私たちの体調をいつも気遣ってくれています。　

Yuasa Tamaki is the daughter of Yoko. Although Yoko didn’t go to Okinawa with us,   she does plan to come to America with Hiromi. Yoko is fabulous. She is responsible for getting many of our students born-again. Three years ago she brought Tamaki-chan to Rising Sun School, and Tamaki was born-again. She is “on-fire” for Jesus Christ! Recently she was asked to sing at a Buddhist wedding, and she led the whole group of them, eighty people, to Jesus Christ. 　Tamaki is the mother of Hazuki-chan and Motoki-kun, two great little fourth-generation Japanese Christians. We are watching them grow up in the Lord!

たまきさん：　YOKOの娘さん。YOKOはヒロミとタルサに行く計画なので、今回の旅行には参加しませんでしたが、彼女の働きはすばらしく、今学んでいる生徒さんの中にも、彼女に連れてこられた人たちがいます。　３年前彼女はたまきさんをライジングサンスクールに連れてきました。たまきさんは新生し、今はイエスキリストに燃えています！　最近ある結婚式で、歌を頼まれ、その場の参加者全員８０名をイエスキリストに導きました。　たまきさんは、はずきちゃん、もとき君の母でもあります。　この子供たちは日本の四世代目の偉大なクリスチャンであり、彼らの成長も私たちは見守っています。
